Sadak Sujhav expands to Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

When Sadak Sujhav went live on September 17, Road Division Kathmandu said it planned to extend coverage to Lalitpur and Bhaktapur within about two weeks, then gradually take the service nationwide. Road Division Kathmandu has now confirmed that step is done: Sadak Sujhav's coverage has grown beyond the Kathmandu district to include Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

What this means

Residents across all three districts of Kathmandu Valley can now use the same app to report damaged roads, potholes, waterlogging, and the other issues Sadak Sujhav already handled in Kathmandu, and follow each report through to resolution. Nothing changes about how the app works: the same photo, location, severity and landmark flow, the same reference number and status tracking, just a wider map of roads behind it.

You can read how the app works in our original launch post, see the product in more detail on the Sadak Sujhav page, or get the app directly from Google Play or the App Store.

What's next

At launch, the Road Division's stated goal was to take the service nationwide in stages after Kathmandu Valley. We'll post here as further expansion is confirmed.

We built Sadak Sujhav for Road Division Kathmandu. Watching its coverage grow past the roads it started with is exactly the outcome we built it for.
